Lot's of stuff happening this weekend in the Canal District.

Saturday we have the Canalfest with lot's of food, music, and all the things you would expect from a fall street festival.

Sunday features the Canal Diggers 5km Road Race. Worcester's largest road race brought to you by the Guru of race directors Paulie Collyer. Start and finish from the Fiddlers Green at the AOH with a post race BBQ and live music.

Saving the best for last, It's Pride Weekend in Wootown. Come down to the Canal district for a celebration of diversity that is sure to make your Conservative friends heads spin. As a famous songwriter once opined....."You'll have a yabba daba doo time, a daba doo time, you'll have a gay old time"

So there you go. The biggest weekend in Worcester's Canal District is staring you in the face. What are you going to do about it?  Of course the Grey Hound will be open all weekend as well and might I suggest you stop in for a pint?

Coming up on September 21'st we are going back in time. Back to a time when life was easy, the economy was stable, and running was a serious sport. That's right folks, we're going all the way back to 2007!! There are many newbie's to our weekly run and it is my opinion that these people just don't understand the hardships suffered by those that ran before them. So what we are going to do is show them. We'll make them feel what we felt, se what we saw and suffer in ways that we have suffered. We are going to run the original An Cu Liath City Run 4.66 mile route which made it's debut on January 8 2007. Buckle up folks 'cause this is going to be a bumpy ride!  The first one to cry "whyyy whyyy whyyy" ala Nancy Kerrigan, gets clubbed in the knee. You have been warned.

See you Monday!
