Another geezer birthday, another geezer no show. What's up with that? Is Matlock back on the air?  I don't know why they don't show up but I do know it doesn't really matter. The real guest of honor is cake and cake always makes an appearance so we are all happy.

This weeks birthday boy was none other than "The Stu Thurston" of The Worcester County Road Racing Hall of Fame. If you are a runner in the area and you don't know who Stu is I'm not telling you because you don't deserve to know.  In all seriousness Stu and last weeks no show of honor Dick Hunt, ( yup still funny) are couple of good guys. I mean they have to be, if I was that close to, well you know where this is going so I won't say it, I'd be on my best behavior too. Eternity is a long time and I don't much like the heat. Really I imagine Dick and Stu will be around for a while yet. These guys are in better shape than most people half their age and they are still running just proving to the world that 70 really is the new 68.

Show your love for the CMS senior men by heading out to the Wachusett Reservoir this Thursday at 6:30 pm for the first of two Summer 5k's. Info below...
