Blown Away at Sandy Neck

Conditions were windy, windy, windy and slightly overcast on 28 December for this challenging 5K course. The course is an out and back on paved road with deep sand and big rocks at the end. The Gillis family was well represented at this year's event including extended family member Jared Nash. Everyone finished to a medley of snacks home-baked by race director Kate Naples and top finishers in all categories were awarded hand-decorated mugs or hand-decorated gloves.
