CMS 52-Week 5K Series Race #51

Worcester, MA, December 20, 2008

‘Twas the race before Christmas and despite all the snow
Seven racers lined up for "Runner, Set, GO!"
Against the clock in direction and speed
John Donovan won first by taking the lead
Andrew Salmon was second; he got a bit lost.
He turned up his nose at nippy Jack Frost
For the female open Kate Sharry would win
In 25:17 with a smile and a grin
Linda Usher, first senior, was in the top 10
Beating a whopping 33% of the men!
Bob Pacetti, 1st male 50-59
From Fitchburg he hailed-- 35:13 was his time.
Tabitha and Amy rounded out the rest
In ankle deep snow-- running is truly a test!
Thank you volunteers and Runners alike
Happy Holidays to all and to all a Good Night!
