Good thing that the Boston Herald &
Boston Globe printed the results today or there would be no results to
post...from last night!! They are right where I put them..now I just have to
figure out where it is that I put em' so that I can complete the results tally.
Three more Thursday nights of these
funny runs in 2004, and a New Year will be upon us...I figure there is only
one guy out there who has done more straight years of funny runs on a
continual year round basis than your scribe here and that is Phil Keeley
of the North Medford Club (got to be the reason we are both so ornery)...I got
about 9 years in and the word on the street is that ole Phil has about 15 under
his running belt doin' the weekly Saturday Fresh Pond Races...and most don't
even know it...so now that I have let the cat out of the bag...here's to
Phil Keeley--next beer at the D.A.V. on me Phil:>)
