First-time RTW entrant Dennis Muehlstein of Conroe outkicked Allan Richardson of The Woodlands over the final 200 yards to capture Run The Woodlands 5K #44. In the process, Muehlstein established a new male 20-29 age group series record of 17:10.

By southeastern Texas standards, the temperature at the start - 50 degrees - was frigid. With clear skies, low humidity and no wind, conditions were near perfect for a race.

A reminder that the next RTW 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 10th. The entry fee is $1.00 (yes, one dollar).
