Run two days after the BetzDearborn Run Thru the Woods 5M in The Woodlands, RTW #46 attracted only 24 runners despite near ideal conditions.
RTW regular John Sullivan won for the 4th or 5th time in the two-year history of the series. "The secret in winning is knowing which of the races to run," said Sully - facetiously. Another RTW regular, junior runner Chelsea Belew, placed 5th overall and was the first female finisher.
Conditions: clear; low 60's; low humidity.
A reminder that the next RTW 5K is scheduled for Saturday, December 8th. The
entry fee is $1.00 (yes, one dollar).
