Kids Cross-Country @McDonogh School
November 4, 2000
Once again the BRRC Kids XC was matched against the NYC
Marathon and, while the day was near perfect and fun was had by all, the numbers
were thinned by those who chose the race through the five boroughs of
New York. It's either that or we
just are not reaching all those aspiring long distance runners that are running
in and around Baltimore. We had over
100 runners but could handle 300 and will shoot for that kind of turn out next
year. There were some great races and, as I have noted in the past, these
runners will be front runners down the road.
Thanks to Kim and Bob Altenberger,
Dan Macedo, Paul Hannsen,
and Jamie Kaiser for lending a hand and making this day a success for the
future.
